Quartz with Blue Fluorite Inclusions
Quartz with blue fluorite inclusions is one of the most unusual and collectible forms of included quartz. These natural specimens combine transparent to translucent quartz with sharply formed blue to purple-blue fluorite crystals trapped inside the quartz, creating an inclusion scene that can only be fully appreciated when the stone is viewed from different angles or under magnification.
Our blue fluorite-in-quartz specimens from Madagascar are collected for the natural fluorite crystals contained within the quartz host. Unlike quartz that simply has fluorite crystals growing on its surface, fluorite-in-quartz contains the fluorite inside the quartz itself, making each specimen a natural record of two minerals growing together.
