Red Island Treasures presents : Quartz with blue fluorite

Quartz with blue fluorite inclusions from Madagascar. Very rare from a collection made from the original mine in 2005. Deposits in the region are now all exhausted and there has been no new production from this unique source, so quartz with blue fluorite inclusions are very sought after.

This specimen is a lovely water clear quartz polished prism with 10 deep blue flourite inclusions & 2 clear cavities where the fluorite crystal formed but later dissolved after breaking though the surface of the quartz.
